As explained here: Dictation commands you can use in OS X - Apple Support
and here: OS X Yosemite: Use Dictation Commands to tell your Mac what to do - Apple Support

Jan 24, 2015 3:55 PM in response to Barney-15Eby littlestacorn,Please review your own links. Neither of them contains the same list that is in System Preferences. That list is only available in System Preferences. It is not even available in the Show Commands menu. In other words, the list of commands in SysPrefs is only there, and you have to tab over to Sys Prefs to see it.

Jan 24, 2015 4:36 PM in response to littlestacornby Barney-15E,I'm confused. I can see the list of commands in System Preferences.
Maybe you need to clarify what you want to see. Or why that list isn't sufficient.
Edit: Now I see. You want to print the list. Not sure where to find that.

Jan 24, 2015 4:48 PM in response to Barney-15Eby littlestacorn,Those commands are also not available in the dictation's on-board Show Commands command, which brings up a window, in which none of those commands are listed. So, if one needs to reference that list, which is necessary because voice commands have to be exact, one has to switch to System Preferences, keep that pane open, and then scroll around in it.
Why Apple couldn't just include it in show commands or for that matter put it in a support article is beyond me.

Jan 24, 2015 4:57 PM in response to Barney-15Eby littlestacorn,And, because the list in System Preferences can not be copied, it by default lives there and nowhere else.

Jan 24, 2015 7:50 PM in response to littlestacornby Barney-15E,Well, you could use Dictation to read each of the commands into a Text document, then print that.

Jan 24, 2015 8:35 PM in response to Barney-15Eby littlestacorn,Yes, I suppose in Apple's new spirit of making everything as kludgy as possible, that is pretty much the only alternative. It is an absurd thing for this list not to exist anywhere, including in Apple's own command sheet. But in light of the garbage software Apple produces now, it's not surprising.
Yosemite is nothing but an ant far, it's so buggy.

Jan 24, 2015 8:57 PM in response to Barney-15Eby littlestacorn,Try five weeks with Apple tech support over the com.apple.geod bug, which slows your computer to near death. Apple swears they never heard of it. I know three people with the problem. HUGE Yosemite bug. Google that process and take your pick. And Apple's official stance is we never heard of it. Not an Apple bug.
