Q: I tried to download a free magizines but was unable to as it said I had restrictions on.in settings it was on ,I never set it so don't have a password to disable it.Can anyone help.

I Tried to download a free mag on my ipad,it refused as it stated restrictions on.I never set up restrictions but it is switched on in settings and needs a password.I have made 3attempts but unable to switch it off.Any suggestions?

Looks like somehow, Restrictions was turned on - likely in the iTunes Store - Use Parental Controls in iTunes to set content restrictions - Apple Support

About Restrictions (parental controls) on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

As the code required can be different from the iPad passcode, you may need to contact the iTunes Store Apple employees
