Sales are final. Loading time is dependent on your network

Instant HD streaming requires at least 6mbps, you can verify your current connection at speedtest.net

If that is ok then there is a local network issue

DNS should also be set to auto (settings - general - network)

    If on wifi try Ethernet

    That is ridiculous.

I have 2 hours left on a movie and i have only been able to watch 41 minutes of 1:48 because it won't load.

All other sources that I have tried work fine on my Apple TV right now including Netflix and 3 other channels but this movie just keeps spinning and saying "Ready to play in XX minutes" and the only change is the number of minutes.

    Speed test is OK.

Apple TV connected to router via Ethernet

Have tried restarting router & Apple TV

Lesson learned, won't be spending any more money via iTunes.

Netflix and similar services adapts to the connection. iTunes content is at a fixed rate and higher quality, a portion needs to load before playback begins. If it starts and then buffers throughout its because you don't have a stable network connection. ISP throttling can also be something to consider

You can see your network status by getting a report istumbler, netstumbler oor similar. Look for signal strength, noise, nearby networks. Make sure router is up to date. You can also test on another network.

Rentals are playing within 5 seconds, and without issue, on my system and for most
