ApplicationsFrom the menu bar, select
 ▹ About This Mac
Below the "OS X" legend in the window that opens, the OS version appears. Click the version line twice to display the serial number. If the number is missing or invalid according to this web form, take the machine to an Apple Store or other authorized service center to have the problem corrected.

Aug 19, 2015 11:17 AM in response to Douglas Schommerby SergeyKi,Hello.
Probably you have two step authentication switched on for your AppleID.
In that case you have to provide application specific password in Login dialog for iMessage instead of your regular AppleID password.
Use "Generate an app-specific password" feature which is available at appleid.apple.com site and then provide generated password into login box.
Actually, OS X should show you dialog which asks you to generate app specific password for "iMessage and FaceTime" right after you have clicked Login button, but sometimes it is not visible (or not displayed). So, maybe it will be better for you to try clicking Login button several times and discover is there confirmation dialog which asks you to generate app-specific password on some desktop...

I tried disabling two-step authentication but it made no difference.
If I generate an app- specific password and attempt to se that I get an error message that my password is incorrect.

Mar 23, 2016 4:45 AM in response to iestyn Williamsby 8leed,45min on phone.. nobody...
you also have "Certificate not yet generated" message in console?
-
Mar 23, 2016 4:48 AM in response to 8leedby iestyn Williams,Yeah it's weird — iCloud is logged in fine (Photos, music etc. etc.) but logging into iMessage or FaceTime just hangs — no invalid password message, nothing.
Then in my console is the `apsd: Certificate not yet generated`, like 6x per second.

Mar 23, 2016 6:26 AM in response to Douglas Schommerby llindemann,Same issue here. Hope the'll get in touch with us soon to solve the Problem. I catched this issue on a clean installed 10.11.4 and 10.11.3 yesterday and this morning. I think this is a general Service Problem on their Servers.
