Q: How do you backup documents stored on iCloud Drive?

How do people back up documents stored on iCloud Drive?

I am a heavy user of Pages, Keynote, Numbers and Sketchbook Pro and most, if not all, my documents are stored on iCloud Drive. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see if TimeCapsule was backing up iCloud drive (because I presumed it was) only to find out that it hasn't even touched those files.

So now, I'm worried about that dreaded fear of 'what happens if iCloud Drive fails?'

Does anyone have any advices on 'best practices' as it pertains to backing up files on iCloud Drive? I'm curious to know what others are doing.

Thanks

Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

The local copies of your iCloud Drive folders are stored in your user library. For example, your Keynote documents will be in ~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~Keynote/Documents

By default, these folders are hidden in the Finder, and you will not see them, when you browse them from the Finder on your Time Machine drive. Try to see these folders, by entering Time Machine with one of the iCloud Drive folders open in the Finder.

Perfect-o! Thank you for pointing me in that direction. Updated to 10.10.2 and everything works exactly as expected. Thank you both.
