Q: Family Sharing Payment

I've signed up for Family Sharing with the hopes to share purchases amongst my family.  However, since I was the one that initiated this, Apple has my card listed as the payment method.  How do I make it so we each individually have our own cards on our accounts for payment since we are all separate?  I don't want to be paying for all their purchases and such.

    Hi IketheAsp,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that after setting up Family Sharing, you would like everyone in your family group to have their own form of payment. By default, the family organizer is responsible for any purchases made in the family group on the family organizer’s form of payment. The individuals in your family group cannot add a credit card to their own accounts, but they can add iTunes gift cards to their respective accounts. Please review the attached article for more information.

    Making purchases

After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card. As the family organizer, any receipts generated by the transaction will be sent to you. Learn more about how iTunes Store purchases are billed.

    Best regards,

    Joe
