Q: mac map search

Yosemite 10.10 imac computer. How do we delete MAPS app history? NO where in the app is there a delete or remove any of the history. The history just builds up and stays there. After I find a route I don't need to keep the route. Thanks for any help.

    OK...I did a little thinking and cleared the SAFARI history.  WOW ...the MAPS history goes away. AND the Safari websites history goes away. What if I wanted to save the safari websites history but remove the maps history? LOL....Out of luck. Yosemite says it is "enhanced with new features". This must be one of the new features..!!!

    Try this

     

    1. Open Maps application either on your Mac or iPhone.

    2. Click on the search bar

    3. Click on Favorites

    4. Select Recent

    5. Clear

     

    Hope this helps.
