You are wasting your time trying to copy Logic across...
What you need to do is use the DVDs to install Logic onto your Laptop (Note: Install not just copy)
If your Laptop doesn't have a DVD drive built in then you can use Remote Disk to utilize the DVD drive on your older Mac...
Use the CD or DVD drive from another computer with your Mac - Apple Support
Otherwise you will need to obtain a USB DVD drive like the Amazon Basics model found here...

or you can make DMG images of your DVDs on your Desktop Mac and then copy them to an external HD.. Connect the External HD to your Laptop and install from those...

Note: Once you have installed Logic Pro 9 you will also need to update it to 9.1.8 before running it the first time..

Finally, Remember... you will need the original Serial code provided with Logic Pro 9 to install it. The serial number can be found in the Logic Pro 9 Packaging.
If you bought the upgrade version of Logic Pro 9 (Logic Studio 2.0) you will also need to original serial number for the full version of Logic Pro 8 (Logic Studio 1.0).. Again that is found in the LP8 packaging.
