Q: minimized the "empty the trash" progress bar
i've minimized the "emptying the trash" progress bar, and can't locate it -- it's been emptying now for over 24 hours, and i'd like to find the progress bar. help?
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

If your computer has been emptying the trash for a long time, but you don't see the progress bar, you may be able to reveal it by using the Window > Bring All to Front option. Make sure that Finder is the active application (by making sure it says Finder in the top left corner of your Mac.)
