Thanks for the question. This may sound simple, but have you configured your health data to be shown on the dashboard? You’ll need to choose a data point from the “Health Data” tab, then tap “Show on Dashboard”.
For more information, check out the iPhone User Guide:

Thanks,

Feb 2, 2015 9:48 PM in response to Matt_M.by selmossa,Hey Matt,
I have actually chosen BMI, active calories and steps to be shown on my dashboard and linked both my Nike running App and Loseit app to the health app, yet when I click on the walking + running distance for example, still nothing pops up it says no data recorded even though my nike app is picking this info up.
Best,
Sarah

Thanks for the follow up. Have you allowed your third-party apps access to Health? You can quickly check this by visiting the “Sources” tab:
Use Health on your iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 8 - Apple Support
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203037
Sources
Here you'll find any third-party apps and devices that can send data to Health. You can control which apps have access to your health data.
You can also see which apps have access to your health data by going to Settings > Privacy > Health.
