Q: I get message when I try to download "To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it.

History I down loaded the OS Yosemite, I have snow Lepord and the upgrade dialog said I had a STo update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it.MART Error on Drive,changed drive and backed up to old 10.8, I go to app store ad try to download and get the Message I have other upgrades and to "To update this application, sign in to the account used to purchase it" probplembeing i have a new password and have no Idea what to enter, I've signed in to the apple account and I'm recognized.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), can not downlad Yosemite

Content bought using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
You have to use the same Apple ID & password for update or to re-download.

Thanks for your reply, the problem is that I change my drive and in the mean time my password had to be changed so no matter what I I try I cannot used the orginal sign on. if necessary I'll pay the $20 and call, I'm stumped.
