Q: No AirPrint Printers Found

I have a Canon PIXMA MG6220 printer. It has the most current firmware and is working perfectly. It is on the same network as my iPhone. The printer prints fine when printing from my computer. However, when I try to print from my phone, I get the "No AirPrint Printers Found." My iOS version is 8.1.2. I've already checked with Canon and my WiFi provider, and there are no issues. So, the only thing that seems to be an issue is the iPhone itself. It was working previously but with the latest update, it stopped working. Are there any workarounds or fixes that anyone knows of? Since I have investigated the other possible sources, the only one left is a bug in the iOS software. Anyone else have a problem?

AirPrint uses the Bonjour protocol to discover a device. Your Canon, I think, has Wi-Fi, but it would still need to support the Bonjour Protocol to be discoverable by your phone. If it doesn't... That's why it doesn't work.

No, my printer IS an airprint printer. It is even listed on Apple's site as an AirPrint printer. It was working and then it stopped working.

This may be a router problem. Start by rebooting your router - remove all power from it for about 15 seconds (don't just turn it off; many routers never turn completely off). If that doesn't resolve the problem check your router settings and make sure you don't have any ports blocked that bonjour or the printer may need. Here's a list of ports used by Apple software: TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products - Apple Support

I have finally verified that my router doesn't block any ports. My router has been rebooted many times. I checked my router information and both the printer and my iPhone show as active and wireless. The problem is with iTunes. Why won't Apple fix their program?

iTunes has nothing to do with AirPrint. Have you reset the printer?

As mentioned iTunes has nothing to do with AirPrint. My Canon AirPrint printer works perfectly fine with all my iOS devices. The problem is with your particular device.

Gee, I'm so glad your printer works - mine doesn't. It was working and then it stopped. I won't be spending the money next time to get specifically an AirPrint printer. Does anyone have any helpful advice? Stop telling me iTunes has nothing to do with it. I know it runs off Bonjour.
