It throws "The scan operation is canceled" error every time I try a Scan or an Overview Scan.
I've restarted, reset the scanner, unplugged the scanner's power supply, and I reset the printing system, no change.

Feb 5, 2015 10:12 AM in response to lisa62by Ziploc,Applications folder most likely. Finder>Applications. The one I use is called MP Navigator. I have a Canon printer. I would imagine there is a Lexmark printer application.

Feb 5, 2015 10:23 AM in response to Ziplocby Ziploc,If you're unsure you can go to the Lexmark site and download the most recent software for your unit. I just went to their site and it was fairly straight forward.

Feb 5, 2015 10:29 AM in response to John Blanchard1by lisa62,According to Lexmark's website, the latest supported OS for this printer/scanner is 10.9.x, but I've been using Yosemite for a while and the scanner worked until I updated to 10.10.2.

Feb 5, 2015 11:12 AM in response to lisa62by Ziploc,It might be in the Utilities folder. You could try to download and install the newest driver and see if that works. If not try to contact Lexmark Support.

Feb 5, 2015 2:17 PM in response to shmeckby lisa62,I contacted Lexmark and was told that updated installation software for OS 10.10.2 may be available for my scanner by the end of February. You may wish to check the Lexmark website at that time for your model, too.

Mar 23, 2015 5:43 PM in response to lisa62by purplespud,Lexmark just told me moments ago (March 23, 2015) that there will not be a 10.10 driver issued for my X2650 and that I need to buy a new printer. The 2013 10.9 driver is the end of the line. Then they offered me, as a "Prestige" customer, 30% off a new unit. Class act that was.
