Q: does anybody know how to get a disabled ipod touch  into recovery mode another way either through a third party app or via apple????

does anybody know how to get a disabled ipod touch  into recovery mode another way either through a third party app or via apple????   because the way that (http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201263) apple says to do it just isn't working  for me because on boot up it just goes back to the screen that says "ipod is Disabled connect back to itunes". and a quick second question, what are possible causes and remedies of receiving error code: 3212!?!?!
