Feb 6, 2015 7:37 PM in response to keeks1990by LaPastenague,Is it getting enough signal to make a decent connection.. ??
Try moving it closer to the main router.
No luck tell us what model running what firmware??
And what router is it connecting to.
There is no such thing as 100% reliable extend wireless at least with domestic equipment and it is well worth looking at running ethernet or if that is not feasible then EOP adapters.

Feb 6, 2015 8:26 PM in response to keeks1990by Bob Timmons,The main causes of connection problems like this are:
1) The AirPort Express is located too far from the main device
2) There are too many obstructions in the signal path between the AirPort Express and main router
3) Other WiFi networks, cordless phones, or any of a number of other items may be interfering with the wireless signal that the Express is picking up
4) The Express is defective
So, the issue may be one of the items above, two, three or all of them.
Let's start with 1) and 2) above.
Tell us as much as you can about how far the AirPort Express and other AirPort are from each other, and how many obstructions like walls, ceilings, heavy furniture, etc. may be in the direct signal path between the two AirPorts. Any details on the type of wall construction, etc would be helpful as well.

Feb 9, 2015 9:28 PM in response to keeks1990by keeks1990,Sorry i been a little busy,
I moved the wifi express closer to my airport extreme and it worked fine like it usually does for the first 15-20 minutes and disconnects again.
I thought the first airport express i had was defective so i bought another one just to check if that was the problem.. i connected it to my network and placed it in the usually place it worked good for about an hour and then i get the same blinking amber lights. Because i moved it closer to my router and it still managed to disconnect, i don't think it has to do with obstruction or it being defective since i bought another and still had the same issue.....

Feb 9, 2015 9:35 PM in response to keeks1990by Bob Timmons,Then, you need to take a look at 3) above, and read through this Apple support document:
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: Potential sources of wireless interference - Apple Support
If you cannot solve your issue, you will need to connect the AirPort Express to your main router using a permanent, wired Ethernet cable connection.

Mar 15, 2015 10:38 AM in response to keeks1990by CraigBarden,I have exactly this same problem. I have a house that rambles, so I've got a couple of different Airport Expresses that I used to extend the network. (BTW, I *love* the simplicity of Apple networking.) My newest unit will sync... and then 15 minutes of so later it loses it and goes back to flashing yellow. I can unplug it and start again and it will get green again for a short while and lose it. I've tried moving it all over the house, including 15 feet away with line of sight to my Airport Extreme and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Since mine doesn't seem to be the only one doing this, could it be a software issue? (My other Airport Express has no issues.) Is there a hard reset that might create a deeper reset than a power down? Any ideas would be appreciated.
