Q: retrieve keychain developed passwords
Having used Safari generated passwords on my Mac (just updated to OS X Yosemite), I have no idea how to re-generate them on my iPhone 6 (or my previous iPhone). I have iCloud Keychain "on" in the iPhone. Yet I am still asked to enter passwords in apps and websites. What should I do to make the keychain generated code present itself?

Hello fabtoocius,
Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
If iCloud Keychain is on but usernames and passwords are not being filled in on your iPhone, check this setting next:
If Safari isn't automatically filling in account names and passwords on some websites
iOS 7.1.1 or later:
- Tap Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill and make sure that Names and Passwords is on.
- Press the Home button and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, turn off Private Browsing. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on.
You can find the steps above and more information at this page:
