Q: AppleTV Home sharing stopped working after updating Itunes 12.1

My AppleTV home sharing cannot find my library after I updated my windows 8.1 with itunes 12.1 update

    I sure hope someone out there has an answer for this because I just ran into the exact same problem.  What was working perfectly fine before has now completely stopped working with the itunes 12.1 update for windows 8.1... very frustrating

    Hi there montesx4,

     

    It sounds like you aren't able to use Home Sharing since updating your iTunes version to 12.1. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article to help determine what may be the cause. It is possible that the update reset a few settings that need to be reconfigured:
