Q: Home sharing iPad Air 2 lag

Hey all!

I've been struggling with home sharing movies in my iTunes to my iPad Air 2. Takes forever to load. I have 10 movies in my iTunes library. They show instantly when I fire up my Apple TV but my iPad is a nightmare. Ive gotten it to work a couple time but 30 minutes to show on my iPad. Today I'm trying and Its dragging along, then when the iPad screen sleeps and I wake, I just get the spinning wheel and I have to start over. Ive tried all the regular, toggling home sharing on and off. Signing out/in. Closing/opening apps. Network is fine.

I'd love to just take my iPad in the other room and watch a movie but I've been screwing with this crap for 30 minutes already.

Hi George Cassello,

I understand that while trying to view movies on your iPad though Home Sharing, it takes a long time for the movies to load. I also understand that you have completed a lot of great troubleshooting steps as well. To further troubleshoot, I would recommend reading over the attached article and completing any troubleshooting that you have not already worked through.
