Q: error -54 / outlook not found

Last week I began receiving error -54 when syncing my windows 8.1 64 and the latest version of iTunes. Additionally now iTunes won't find MS-Outlook 2010 to sync my calendar and contacts.

Thoughts? I've reset the phone. Re-installed iTunes. Nothing seems to work....
