Q: I can't find the ICloud icon in System Preferences on my IMac

Ok, IMac running OS X 10.6.8. I am not able to locate the ICloud icon to set ICloud on my IMac to help me share my photos between my iPad and my Android phone. Any Suggestions? Thank you :-)

    Greetings rodrocket,

To access iCloud features on a Mac one must be using at least OS X Lion 10.7.5. This will add the iCloud system preference pane and allow you to sync data between your devices. I have linked to an article which explains the iCloud requirements in greater detail:

System requirements for iCloud - Apple Support

To use iCloud, you need at least iOS 5 on iPhone 3GS, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPad, or iPad mini; or at least OS X Lion v10.7.5 on a Mac.

Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.

    Best,
