Q: iTunes stops working with iTunes match

After approx 5 mins after opening iTunes on my PC it stops and notifies me "iTunes has stopped working and will close". This occurs only when i have iTunes match turned on. I have up to date versions and have reloaded 2 times now in hope to resolve. I really want to have the iTunes match work for all my devices so any help to resolve this problem would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    I suggest that you read this support article:

    How to troubleshoot iTunes Match - Apple Support

     

    Specifically note this:

     

    • Mac: While holding down the option key, choose Store > Turn Off iTunes Match.
      Turn iTunes Match on by selecting Store > Turn On iTunes Match.
    • Windows: While holding down the shift key, choose Store > Turn Off iTunes Match.
      Turn iTunes Match on by selecting Store > Turn On iTunes Match.
    • iOS devices: Tap Settings > Music > iTunes Match Off,
      Turn iTunes Match on by tapping Settings > Music > iTunes Match On.
