Q: iOS8 data usage

Since upgrading to iOS8 I have found my 3G data usage much higher than it was previously.

I am using about the same in a week than I previously was in a month!

Having searched the internet I find this is a common problem (going back to 2014), however I haven't found a satisfactory solution (only to reset everything and reinstall apps).

My icloud is off. And background refresh off.

Is there a proper solution to this now ?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.1.3

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPhone. If you are seeing unusual cellular 3G data usage recently after upgrading to iOS 8, you may want to see if the usage is disproportionate in any particular service or app/apps, as outlined in the following article (apologies if you have already seen it):
