There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 10 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:

    - What version of iPhoto.

    - What version of the Operating System.

    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.

    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?

    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.

    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?

Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

    Hi,

I have the same problem. Trying to upload the iPhoto book blocks the computer. Occurred many times, every time I did it during the last three weeks that I tried it. Tried it at least 25 times.

    OS X Yosemite 10.10.2

    iMac 27 inch late 2013

    iPhoto version 9.6

    the book has 62 pages.

i'm sending the book from The Netherlands.

i have  a shared photo database with aperture - but the book is from iPhoto.

Does anyone know what's the problem?

    Thanks!

    Sander

First are you able to create a preview pdf file of the book according to this Apple document: iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture - Apple Support?

If so boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and try ordering the book from there.

Note:  save the PDF file to compare it to the printed copy when it arrives.

    Hi

    OS X Yosemite 10.10.2

    iMac 23 inch late 2013

    iPhoto version 9.6

after I had tried it 3 times without success, I have created a pdf file. I then cut using the Automator into individual image files and ordered the photo book with another provider.
