Feb 14, 2015 9:50 AM in response to C.Renaudby vazandrew,This is a user forum so no one can answer anything related to policy, nor is it permitted on this technical support forum. It is unlike Netflix in that it requires a Bell subscription, similar to adding a channel to your cable package. It wouldn't be surprising that they are keeping strict control over what devices it can be viewed on.

Feb 14, 2015 1:52 PM in response to vazandrewby C.Renaud,I was directed here by AppleTV to post my question. Even if they don't have an app.....yet, there should be a way for me to watch the shows that I pay to subscribe to without being relegated to only watching on my computer. It is NOT available through the satellite receiver, only online.
Crave TV is the same as netflix, in that it is streaming video directly from their site regardless of whom I paid to have access to it. I paid for it, just like I paid to have netflix. Also the same as netflix, movies or shows can't be downloaded to my iTunes Folder as I do with other media.
I just recently bought the AppleTV for the sole purpose of streaming movies and shows from the internet to my TV.

Feb 14, 2015 3:36 PM in response to C.Renaudby vazandrew,I only meant that Crave requires a cable subscription, so it's not a standalone service. Cable companies are typically tightfisted when it comes to viewing on other devices. The only possibility would be to mirror your computer (harder for them to block). If you have a Mac from 2011 or later running OSX 10.8 or later you can do so natively. If you have older hardware or a PC you can use a 3rd party program like Airparrot. There is a trial so you can see if it works for you.

Feb 15, 2015 12:11 PM in response to vazandrewby C.Renaud,Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately, I don't think the Airparrot will work with my PC, as I looked at the specs. I have looked on my paperwork with purchase of the AppleTV and on the Apple site and can't see AppleTV2 or 3 listed anywhere .....yet the AirParrot requires 2 or 3. Which is weird.
I'm beginning to think I would have been better off buying 2 Roku devices for our 2 TV's. I bought this Apple TV, to try it out, and expected to buy another for the TV in the bedroom.
Also, found an article that it was Apple that blocked Bell from adding their CraveTV app to the AppleTV. But in that same article, they promised that Roku would be supported "this year for sure".

Feb 15, 2015 1:19 PM in response to C.Renaudby vazandrew,If you just purchased it then you have a gen 3, which will work with Airparrot. Even the 2nd gen, released in 2010 (but no longer sold) is supported. If you have an IOS device you can use airplay from there as well.
