Q: Broken iPhone 5 trying to sync iOS 8 in iPhone 4..help!

I Had to do back to my iphone4 which doesn't have enough memory for iOS updatE. I've deleted a lot, how can I chack what's up and safe on iCloud?

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2, No storage had iPhone 5 but broken
