Q: Cannot get back to OSX from 9.2.2

I have a G4 with os 10.2 that was booting fine, I tried to boot it up in classic 9.2.2 mode to run an old program we use and upon startup I get the Floppy disk with flashing ?. I tried to hold option upon booting but it shows the 9.2.2 mac HD as my only option, I've also tried holding X, no luck. Thank you for any help!

Hey marco551,

From your description I'm not sure if you can successfully boot into OS 9 or not, "I tried to boot it up in classic 9.2.2 mode…".

If you can't boot from the hard drive at all, try from your System CD and check out the hard drive.

Your Mac won't start up in Mac OS X (Mac OS X 10.3.9 or earlier) - Apple Support

Note there's also a Startup Disk option with both OS 9 and X.
