Feb 16, 2015 11:28 PM in response to Ctchrisfby Stephen Buel,I have the exact opposite problem. I turned off iTunes Match to clear all the downloaded songs off my old school iPhone 3 because I didn't want them cluttering up my tiny 8 GB drive, I just wanted them in the cloud. Now I can't turn it back on, no matter what I do. Anyone have any clue how to restart it?

Apr 11, 2015 7:54 AM in response to Steven Wilsonby deepsis,Hey Steve,
So I went to iTunes store to turn off my iTunes match but it appears it's already off because the only option is to turn it on.
I've lost all my playlists on my phone but still have everything in the basic library. I'm not sure what else I can do. I've signed out and then back in -It doesn't appear as though I'm even signed into iTunes match so what else can I do?
Thanks

Apr 12, 2015 10:06 AM in response to Steven Wilsonby fuge73,Question to anyone out there?? I turned off my auto renew and cancelled my iTunes match but am now unable to manually sync my iTunes library to my iPhone 5s as my phone continually says iTunes match turned on when connected. There is no option to turn it off and when I go into music settings on my phone it just says subscription expired!!!! Very frustrated and don't feel that I should have to continue paying for a crap program to get access to "my" music that I already paid for and that is on my computer. I just want to manually sync my phone with my itunes library like before without all the iTunes match and cloud crap getting in the way!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!! I've turned off iTunes match in my store settings as well as genius, I've reset my network settings, I've signed in and out of iTunes and I've read all the blogs!! Still nothing works!! Arghhhhhhhh Help!!! my opinion of Apple is slowly deteriorating day by day hour by hour!!!! this stuff should not be so difficult!!!!

Jun 30, 2015 2:53 PM in response to Rod_Vby ghozali,Unbelievable, a 2012 solution to a problem, still applicable now. I am growing my like into Apple product, but this is making me cringe a bit.

Jul 12, 2015 9:16 PM in response to EJALEXby Che_Bourashka,Hello all,
I am not sure about Rod's solution works with new iTunes.
Yose 10.10.4 has different interface or I am stupid.
Who knows how can remove Match - let me know please.
Thanks

Jul 21, 2015 5:44 PM in response to Ctchrisfby P Willis,CtChrisf, your instructions fixed my problem although I was having the opposite problem, sort of. My Mac was telling me I couldn't transfer music to my iPad because iTunes Match was turned on on my iPad, however, it was not. iTunes Match was off on ALL my devices and Desktop, After a reset of my Network as you prescribed, problem fixed! Thank you! Now, if I can only get my Family Sharing to work in Apple Music, I'll be a happy camper.

Oct 27, 2015 4:19 PM in response to Steven Wilsonby fairdealdave,I'm running OS X 10.10.5 on a MacBook Pro with iTunes 12.3.1.23 & iPhone 6 running IOS 9.1
I DO use iTunes MATCH although I'm kind of wishing I never started!!
In my case I had a whole purchased CD of "Promises Promises" as a remastered album.
After importing into iTunes from the CD only 4 of the songs went to the cloud and showed up on my iPhone.
The rest got stuck in waiting status. I'm assuming you know how to check the status or you would not be in this thread. If not there are other threads that show you how to check the status of songs in your library. It's all done in iTunes NOT in the FINDER.
So here is what I finally tried that worked after reading most of these other current comments and NOT trying any of the ones associated with moving music files around or deleting etc. Too scary for me. This took me 2 hours of research. Apple support was NO help what so ever.
Go to iTunes > Preferences > General > and uncheck iCloud Music Library & click OK
Then recheck iCloud Music Library and click OK
This seems to force your music cloud (Match in my case) to resync and clear the waiting songs.
I did have two songs that are still waiting but I think it is for other reasons and I don't care about listening to them on my phone anyway.
Hope this works for you and does not mess up anything for you.
