Go to settings>itunes store & appstore>logout from the account
Turn off and turn on the idevice
Again, go to settings>itunes store & appstore>login
It works without a restoration.

Mar 27, 2015 11:05 AM in response to MVMarkby kayla.sue94,I was hesitant about doing the 'reset network settings' so I tried forgetting my current wifi connect and then logging back in and that worked for me! Very easy fix! Thanks for the suggestion.

Jun 26, 2015 10:57 PM in response to atatuaby don't care for itunes, did not work for me.
resetting did not work either
backing up did not work
deleting and reinstalling the app did not work
praying did not work
voo doo did not work
beseeching the sun god, rain god, and Apple gods did not work
the only thing that did work is to stop using the affected apps altogether after deleting them
poor drop box...the support guys there are at a complete loss as to why one of their potential
paying customers is now no longer interested in upgrading
i highly doubt Apple is even sincere in trying to solve this problem once and for all
hey Apple, do you hear that?
anyone else out there seriously considering switching to android?

iCloudThere are four pages of posts here going back to 2013. A lot has changed since then, and this post's title refers to two entirely separate processes.
So, how about you tell us what it is you are trying to do, and what happens when you try to do it? Since we now know all of the troubleshooting steps you have taken, that should save some time.
This is a user to user forum, by the way. Apple isn't hearing anything....
Cheers,
GB

Jun 26, 2015 11:25 PM in response to gail from maineby don't care for itunes,Hi GB
two of my apps have been popping up the connect to iTunes to use push notifications alert constantly...and no matter how many times I pushed ok, it just won't go away.
when that happens, my phone freezes up, and I can't do anything other than restart it.
needless to say this problem renders the aforementioned apps completely useless.
i've trawled the Internet for suggestions for two days now, tried just about everything except the mention of a certain sledgehammer,
and nothing works.
i use an iPhone 4s with iOS 8.3, which has worked just fine until the two apps started acting up out of the blue without any warning.
this situation is completely hopeless
one is DropBox
the other is Starbucks Taiwan
what I find unsettling is the fact that many people have come up with many different solutions, but none of them worked.

iCloudDid you try going to Settings>iTunes & App Store and signing out of iTunes and back in again?
Also, have you looked in your Notifications Settings? If you see the apps listed there, click on them and see if you can turn off Notifications, or disallow them.
Cheers,
GB

Jun 27, 2015 12:15 AM in response to gail from maineby don't care for itunes,Hi GB,
Yes, I tried both of these methods, but the problem persists.
I've already tried resetting and backing up, and that didn't work either.
Deleting and and reinstalling the said apps also didn't work.

iCloudI would suggest you delete those apps and re-download them to your device, making sure that your Apple ID is signed into the iTunes & App Store. Is there any possibility that those apps were originally downloaded with a different Apple ID?
