Q: Remote Desktop Client Updates on OS X 10.8.5

My System Info:
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.8.5) - Mountain Lion

Re: REMOTE DESKTOP CLIENT

On 10.23.2013, I received an update for Remote Desktop Client 3.7.0 ... so I updated, as I always do.

On 1.27.2015, I received a second update notice for 3.8.2 ... and updated again.

I just recently received another update >> Remote Desktop Client Update 3.8.2 v1.1,
which, after checking the system requirements, is for OS X 10.9 or later. { My current system is OS X 10.8.5 - Mountain Lion }.

Then, I thought I would go back to check on the system requirements for the previous update I had done, 3.8.2, and noticed they were not the correct requirements either! > I am hoping that last update did not hurt my system!!

{ ** Please note...I've always done all the software updates whenever they show up in order to keep everything up to date. I have never installed Remote Desktop Client on my computer ... I am still new at this, and I actually had no idea as to what 'Remote Desktop Client' even was! It was recommended when I got this that I do ALL software updates that were showing up for my computer }.

I am confused as to why they are sending me updates for software I have not installed.

So, my question is ...
should I do this latest update, or should I ignore it since my system requirements don't match,
and besides the fact that Remote Desktop Client is not installed anyway?

Also, would it be beneficial to uninstall the previous update 3.8.2?
If so, how?!

I so appreciate any help you can give me!  Thank you!

Remote Desktop Client is included in all Macs to be able to manage a Mac from a different one which is connected to the same network. A different thing is Apple Remote Desktop, which is available in the Mac App Store and it has got more features. You do not need to uninstall anything.

Thank you, understood, and I will not uninstall anything, but do I install this current update 3.8.2. v1.1?
My current system does not match what is needed for it according to the information on this page ...
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201068
The system requirements needed for the update are OS X 10.9 or later, and my system is OS X 10.8.5.
