Q: Safari 7.1.3 autofill

Can I manually insert credentials entry (user/password) into autofill mechanism of safari 7.1.3 (Mavericks)? Browser doesn't ask to store user/passwords.

Browser is not able to autofill for http site of gardening and no entry is in password section so I thought to insert it. How?

What do you think?

    Hi, Rickyleroy.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that iCloud Keychain is not working as expected.  I would take a look at the article below as it may help with this issue.

If Safari isn't asking to save account names and passwords, even though iCloud Keychain is on

    iOS 7.1.1 or later:

    1. Tap Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill.
    2. Turn on Names and Passwords.
    3. Press the Home button and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, turn off Private Browsing. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on.

OS X Mavericks v10.9 or later:

    1. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click AutoFill.
    2. Select User names and passwords.
    3. See if Private Browsing is turned on in Yosemite or Mavericks. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on.

If Safari isn't automatically filling in account names and passwords on some websites

    iOS 7.1.1 or later:

    1. Tap Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill and make sure that Names and Passwords is on.
    2. Press the Home button and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, turn off Private Browsing. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on.

OS X Mavericks v10.9 or later:

    1. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click Passwords.
    2. Select AutoFill user names and password.
    3. See if Private Browsing is turned on in Yosemite or Mavericks. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on.

I tried all options you suggested but nothing; no private browsing is enable.

some Sites which have these problems:

    http://forum.giardinaggio.it

    https://accounts.google.com

I can indicate other sites with the same problems, no credentials are saved.

    What can I solve please?

I shot myself in the foot with this a while ago.  Make sure you're not trying to use Autofill while browsing in "Private" mode.

Make sure Safari names and passwords and use contact info are enabled also.
