Feb 18, 2015 4:14 PM in response to anthony78915by wilkie.joissaint,A low voltage for a USB port may be caused due to many components of the computer hogging more power from the SMPS.
But, charging time is mainly based on the charging current, give that the voltage is constant (at 5 V DC) anyway.
USB 2.0 ports allow a current rating of 1.1 A at 5 V DC.
USB 3.0 ports allow a current rating of 5 A at 5 V DC.
So try plugging the iPhone 6 to a wall outlet and see if there any improvements. If no, you should be able to return the unit for a new, because you are within the 14 days period.

Feb 18, 2015 6:08 PM in response to anthony78915by Lyssa,The front USB ports can charge a phone more slowly than the ones on the back. It also may charge more slowly on the computer than with its power adapter.
Try the power adapter. Does it charge more quickly? If so, it's an issue with your computer.
