Feb 22, 2015 1:10 PM in response to tapirex89by my ginger,Hi. Sorry ,I have never seen a green apple logo. Unless you are talking about a login screen. Usually it is gray.If you have the latest operating system ,it would be Yosemite. In which case ,boot to recovery Command R at startup. Use the disk utilities option to check and repair the disk. You can also try pram reset/Command/Option/P/R keys at startup for three chimes. OR do a SMC reset http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

Feb 22, 2015 2:05 PM in response to tapirex89by my ginger,Hi. Did you try ether the pram reset or the SMC reset? You could try booting with Option-or Option R. With Yosemite there should be a restore partition. Also try safe boot by holding down the shift key. It takes a little longer to boot this way. Or single user mode. Command S. http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203176
