Q: Dangerous Apple Pay Fraud Attempts

It seems the latest scam going around is to entice people into trying to purchase an expensive automobile by offering it at a significant reduction and then asking the buyer to use Apple Pay to complete the transaction. These are two threads that have surfaced so far regarding this. It must operate similar to the
lottery or bank transfer schemes where you cash a check for a foreign national and then transfer only a small portion back to them and keep the balance.
