Feb 24, 2015 7:22 PM in response to Eric Rootby rlcox1981,Yep -- did that when I couldn't figure out how to make the printer show up as active rather than idle. Downloaded the drivers all over again, reconnected it to the printer, got one thing to print and now it is once again showing that the printer is idle and no print jobs will go through.

Then, tell us where from/which version of Epson driver you installed repeatedly. Maybe you have the wrong driver.

Feb 25, 2015 7:48 PM in response to John Blanchard1by rlcox1981,I tried to figure out how to get drivers from Apple but their documentation is not very clear -- especially for someone new to Mac after decades of PC use. Finally I scratched that and called Epson. An hour and a half on the phone with Epson and finally it works again. Had to remove all the Epson files and then force the computer to find the drivers Apple had. I wish that the Apple articles would have been as clear on how to do this!
