Feb 26, 2015 1:34 PM in response to Cloperrinby Squid3660,I had the same problem after upgrading to 10.10.2 last week. Mail.app wouldn't connect to my Yahoo! or iCloud mail accounts. I tried Unibox instead of Mail and that worked for a week, but then Unibox had the same problem. Ultimately, what fixed Mail for me was to log out of iCloud in System preferences, delete my Yahoo! mail from System Preferences / Internet Accounts, then restart the Macbook Air into safe mode (hold down the shift key while booting). While in safe mode, I went into System Preferences / iCloud, logged in, and enabled Mail, and then added my yahoo account in Internet Accounts. Finally, Mail started to connect to all my accounts and I was able to receive and send mail again.
I restarted normally and everything has been working fine since then. While my reply is not guaranteed to work for you, I sincerely do hope this helps!
