NONE does not work once you turn on Family Sharing.

There is apparently a taboo about speculating what is coming up, or why on this forum - so I won’t go expressing why I think there are all these changes, other than to say that the Family Sharing factors into some of it, as the $$ driving account needs to be firmly established & now kids under 13 can have accounts.

I’m not happy either. Its gotten ever more convoluted to access one’s content, but if you think this is a problem - try buying a physical pre-paid credit card as a gift sometime & some of these iTunes gripes will seem less draconian!

so, I'm just figuring out how to create apple id without credit card, its actually funny when you figure it out. I'm Ipod touch user, so its easy for me to fine 'NONE' option, when I bought new Iphone for my sister, yes, I can't make new apple id without credit card, so for iphone user, its better to ask to the nearest apple store ask for creating apple id will be easier. it seems that for creating new apple id through Iphone, or itunes will be requiring the credit card options, but when I'm creating apple id through Ipod Touch, there the "NONE' option. and yes I'm using new E-mail too. or if you have friends or relatives that have ipod touch, maybe you can borrow it for a moment. Hope this would helping a lot.

Here's my simple way to create a free acount (your used account will work here)

1) Clear Apple ID on "iTunes & App Store" and iCloud" to begin on iPhone or iPad (tested on 7.1.1)

2) Touch "Get A Free Apple ID" and fill all requirements

3) Go to App Store and when prompt you, select NONE and fill remaining equirements

4) Verify your email to finish making your free Apple ID (easier on PC). Note that you need your secondary email to keep your Apple ID safe.

5) Finish remaining requirement (create Game Center Account, sign in on iCloud, sign in your account here to be able to post here)

Solidussnake, you have saved my sanity. Our IT dept. has been telling me all sortes of rubbish, it was theirfault that I signed up on line rather than on the IPad & it has been a ctalogue of errors. Using your method actually defaulted to none. I cant thank you enough.
