A lot depends on the AV system at the church. In most cases you will need an adapter to connect your iPad to the projector, here is a list of different adapters that might be needed, depending on which iPad and the input for the projector.

The easiest would be if there is an Apple TV connected to the projector. If that is the case, we can look at those options.
