Q: can't empty trash on my i-mac OS X 10.6.8

I'm not able to empty the "trash" on my i-Mac 10.6.8. I have tried several options on the internet, but none have been successful. Help please.

I understand that you are having difficulty emptying the trash on your Mac running Snow Leopard. To help assist you in this situation, I would recommend reading over and working through the steps located in the attached article.

You can't empty the Trash or move a file to the Trash - Apple Support
