Q: Yosemite Wi-Fi Issues.
I only upgraded my Macbook yesterday and I've already stumbled upon problems regarding the Wi-Fi. Keep in mind before the upgrade I had the same problem, but it seems to be repeating itself more-so than it did before. I have to keep restarting the computer to fix this issue. So, here's basically the problem:
- The internet connection is extremely inconsistent when turning on or off; it doesn't seem to know when I try to command it to do so
- When I turn on/off the Wi-Fi it stays in a sort of limbo in that it doesn't tell me whether it is working or not
- I try to turn it on/off, either shows the Wi-Fi with/without the lines but there are no available networks to choose from; they just disappear, aren't there at all
- I have to restart the Mac; sometimes it fixes the problem, others, it just keeps repeating the same problems I've had before
- Even with these problems, they've occurred both when the MacBook Pro was asleep and NOT asleep
Can anybody help me resolve and fix this problem? I'd love to know. I need help asap.
P.S. To Apple: With the next sub-date (next Yosemite engine update), please fix this problem so that there are no longer any Wi-Fi connection issues that keep happening at random. You're a good company, and I know there is bound to be someone else out there that will encounter the same problems that have plagued my computer as of late, so do your best and please fix this problem before it is too late.
