Q: my sound isn't working

I unplugged my headphones and now the sound won't work. I tried resetting my pram and it still isn't working. Any other suggestions?

Hi megsdo,

Sorry to hear that you cannot get any sound from your MacBook Pro. I would start with taking a look at the article below to go though checking the output in System Preferences > Sound to see if you can see the internal speakers. If you cannot get any audio from your MacBook Pro, then you will need to contact Apple Support.

If no joy from norm123's post.
You can try plugging the headphones in and out several times, and try plugging them in/ while toggling the volume controls (F11 F12)
