Q: iTunes 12.1 break 5.1 sound

iTunes upscale stereo sound to 5.1 surround.Until iTunes 12.1 everything was fine because iTunes only play stereo music.With the new iTunes 12.1 the sound is only stereo. How to fix it?

Hi vitaminBV,
The resource below explains how the digital surround sound settings work in iTunes. I would think the sound settings would be similar for a PC.

i use windows 8.1, and setup my soundcard output to 5.1, but it's doesnot help
