Mar 6, 2015 2:54 PM in response to MacDrChrisby Old Toad,Are you running Time Machine? If so you might want to try the following:
1 - go to the HD/Library/Printers folder and select the Canon folder.
2 - enter Time Machine and go back in time to just prior 03/01/2015, i.e. before the update was installed.
3 - select the Canon folder and restore.
4 - repair disk permissions with Disk Utility.
5 - try printing again.
That's what I had to do with my older Canon i850 printer to get it to work after an upgrade.

Mar 6, 2015 3:04 PM in response to Old Toadby MacDrChris,Another great suggestion! Yes, I do run Time Machine; however, I have not plugged it back into my computer since lugging it back home for the Christmas holidays. Thus, my most recent backup is December 13th, 2014. Should I go that far back and use that backup?
