Q: how to delete remote control access to IMac

I would need clarification on this issue as I am not sure if you are attempting to remove Apple Remote Desktop or disable the infrared receiver on your iMac. However, I have included the information on both solutions in the articles below.

Apple's built-in tool is easy to turn off.
- click on apple menu (apple in top left corner)
- choose system prefrences
- click sharing
- un check screen sharing, dvd sharing, remote login, remote management, remote apple events.
