Mar 12, 2015 10:42 AM in response to lalaflyby Loner T,1. The 612MB partition is your local Recovery HD. IT should not be deleted if you ever want to use Command+R (Local Recovery)
2. You Mac may not have an Optical drive, but must either have an internal or external disk to boot from.
3. Your numbers need a bit of clarification (60B or 60MB or 60GB).
4. What year/model is your Mac? The Recovery procedure depends on that and item 1 and any other changes to the disk partitioning.

Can I resize the Windows partition after installing Windows?
No. Back up your important files, then use Boot Camp Assistant to delete the old partition and create a new one.

Mar 12, 2015 10:59 AM in response to Loner Tby lalafly,Hi,
Im not quite sure I know what you mean!
I didn't have enough disc space on my new partition (4) that I had created to install windows. I had allocated 20GB but this wasn't enough so I tried to extend the space but it wouldn't allow me so I deleted what I thought was empty space (although I can see from your answer I shouldn't have)
Its Model A1502/ Yr 2013
Sorry it was 60MB I needed
If it is the recovery partition why would my icons for mac os disappear from the start up when Im logging in as that's my problem? Thanks for your help!

Mar 12, 2015 11:25 AM in response to lalaflyby Loner T,Can you post the output of the following Terminal commands?
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
sudo fdisk /dev/disk0
The "sudo" commands require your password, which will not be echoed back to you. It may also warn you about improper use of "sudo" and potential data loss due to any such "abuse".
