You can see the Faces album in the Preview that apple published:

I've already done at least half of my photos and so was unsure whether to carry on. Do you know when the app will be released? Also, sorry to ask but do you happen to know if it will support also the photos that I take with my DSLR. AT the moment I like to carry all my photos on my various devices, but it would be fantastic to have a place in the iCloud for all my photos. I did try to use the BETA version when it first came out but it seemed to delete lots of photos so I got scared and went back to the original!

Mar 15, 2015 4:05 AM in response to littlehenby léonie,Apple did not yet announce a definitive Release date for MacOS X 10.10.3 with Photos. I hope, they will not rush it out, but evaluate the Beta testing thoroughly, before they release it.

If your Camera is supported in aperture, it will be supported in Photos. Are you shooting RAW? JEGs will always be supported.

We are not allowed to discuss details of he Beta release, because all Beta Testers are signing a non-disclosure agreement.
But don't trust precious original photos to any Beta release.
