Feb 24, 2015 9:56 AM in response to allanfrommalmoeby jbpdx,Airplay works. The problem is you have to physically wake up AppleTV with the remote. This is a major bug. Before, when you started something on iPad etc. and hit the Airplay button it would activate the AppleTV. That no longer works, making it a hassle.

Mar 15, 2015 5:35 AM in response to duceducby zsasz,I was having the same issue but I was able to resolve this by:
1. Opening the Apple Remote app.
2. Click Settings.
3. Turn off the option for Stay Connected.
This resolved it for me and Apple TV woke instantly when AirPlay-ing from my iPhone.
Apple Remote app: v4.2.1 (849)
iPhone iOS: v8.1.3

Apr 9, 2015 7:49 AM in response to duceducby Kartsa667,I Found one possible cause and solution to this problem. When apple tv is connected to Ethernet you don't know if the wlan connection is working. I Was having same problem and one day I accidently disconnected Ethernet cable. Only then I found out that apple tv had lost wlan key at some point. So I entered the key and after that waking up apple tv using IPad is working like it should.

Aug 21, 2015 3:04 PM in response to duceducby BundyShappy,I have been working with TP-Link about the bonjour/wake problem with the TL-WDR4300 wifi router. ( I have a main Netgear DGND3700 router and TL-WDR4300 that my ATV is physically cabled to in another part of the house)
The answer is to set a static IP address for the ATV, go to IP and Mac Address binding in the router that the ATV is connected to and bind the IP address and the Mac address of the ATV.
It now wakes every time from iTunes.
I am running Windoze 7 x64, iTunes 12.2.2.2.25, ATV3.
