Please carefully read the instructions on how to add a printer. This document goes back to 10.6.x however it is still very useful.

I'm sorrry, autocorrect changed it. "find wps printer" I do that, choose "first attempt" I push the wps button on the printer and airport utility finds it right away but when I try to "add printer" its not listed.

Please connect the printer directly to the computer using the USB cable and try to add it as a USB printer. Does that work?

I am pretty sure the only usb port on the printer is for pict bridge. I will double check. Thanks for responding

I got it fixed! I thought I had installed/updated all the drivers for the printer but I had not.
