Click on the Finder window or Desktop. Select Mac Help from the Help menu. Search for "burn cds and dvds" to find what you need.

    Hi RMacP,

I went through this also and found that the optimum to me was to start with an Apple Lossless audio file. You can set this in the iTunes preferences. After you have this file burn it.

What I do is create a new playlist in iTunes then drop these files into the playlist. Then, you burn that playlist. The only problem is knowing how many songs you can fit into the music cd..

Personally and in this operating system, it is not that easy to know exactly how many songs you can fit into a cd even if you know how many bytes the cd can hold. Perhaps I need more practice . But, eventually the cds turned out ok. What I did was under estimate the number of files and then the cd held all the files. the cds were cheap anyway so no problems with that.

Edited: ps. the songs sounded great!
