Q: Problem with buying production from Apple Sweden online store

Hi,

 

Got problem with buying apple production from Apple Sweden online  store. There is a problem for customer to input their phone number for their deliver information. A typical Swedish phone number is 9 digits, but the field 'Telefonnummer i första hand' is cap to 8 digits. so there is no way to register phone number correctly. Posted here, because it seems no one from Apple Sweden customer service care about the problem. It has been there for a while, and yet fixed. This really make people impossible to buy Apple production from its online store.

    I'd suggest you contact the Swedish online store - I'm sure there would be a "need help" section as there is in the US store; in the meantime, I never show my real telephone number as they really do not need it (it is a privacy issue for me) - they need the address of course, but I fail to see what the phone number will do as long as they have your email address to contact you with. In the US, the number is 10 digits including the area code, so I usually use something like this: 123-456-7890. So, you can simply leave off one digit of your number or just type in anything.

    BTW, that sure looks like * 10 * digit telephone number  - not *8* or *9*
