Q: How do I fix this right?
I stopped using iTunes 3 years ago and I actually wrote this all up already, but I accidentally cleared it all without an undo possibility.
This one will be short: I re-downloaded Tunes on my windows PC so I could get my old songs I had from my iPod which is now broken. There was complications before it broke, but when it finally did, I forgot all about my Apple ID and iTunes. Now that I'm on iTunes, I can't download a song and I
get the error message: "Your Apple ID has been disabled. For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww." exactly like that.
I reset my password twice but the first time was for actually getting my account working again, since I didn't remember my password. I also changed my billing information because the credit card was expired. Anyway, when I was guessing what it was at first I got the pop up for when you get it wrong too many times. I think that could have locked my account, but I could see it being the sheer length of inactivity or something else that I could go into detail about... Anyway is there anyway I can avoid having to call apple support? All I want is to get the songs I already bought.
Thanks.
